The Mercian Evolution CKF75 is a 75% carbon model with high-quality Toray carbon placed across a 15% fiberglass skeleton, providing excellent touch and feel. The 10% Kevlar increases durability, stiffness, and laminate bonding.
The DSH bend features a 4mm scooped face and low-bow profile (23mm @ 270mm) for enhanced ball control and 3D skills. Nano polymer resin creates a flexible but stronger bond between composite layers, increasing stiffness and reducing the risk of de-lamination.
Key Features:
- High-Quality Carbon: Preferred carbon from Japan, Germany, Scotland, and South Africa provides stiffness but can be brittle. Combining carbon with fiberglass and Kevlar enhances strength and durability.
- Fiberglass Construction: Fine glass fibers combined into thicker fibers, dipped in resin, and laid out to create single directional sheets. These sheets are layered at different angles for multi-directional strength.
- High Friction Finish: The final layer of lacquer on the face of the stick is mixed with fine grains of silicon polymer to create a texture that stops the ball spinning on contact. These tiny rubber particles 'squash' on ball impact, providing a damping effect.
- Mid-Bow Bend: 23mm bend at 270mm from the head.
- Dual-Process Vibration Control: Piezo-electric fibers convert vibrations into heat for efficient dampening.
